During my exchange experience, I underwent series of leadership training, found a new family, made new friends, and experienced a culture that’s whole lot different from ours. This experience taught me the importance of Intercultural Learning, religious tolerance, civic engagement, and so much more. I just can’t fit the awesomeness of my program, PYLP, in just a few sentences; it’s hard to perfectly describe it in words, so I hope people will experience it themselves. I’m forever thankful for the US Department of State and AFS!
