Sentio is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.
History
Sentio, Inc. is a not-for-profit global education network that was created in 2014 as a subsidiary of AFS Intercultural Programs, Inc. (“AFS”) to develop a global network of member organizations to further promote the AFS mission and provide intercultural learning opportunities for adults.
AFS is a not-for-profit international education organization that, since 1947, has provided enriched intercultural learning experiences through global study abroad programs, volunteerism, structured learning methods and reflection.
While the AFS network runs programs for youth, the Sentio network runs programs for adults.
