AFS Philippines has taught me more than what I could have imagined. There are many reasons to consider applying for internship with AFS, but perhaps the most worthwhile is being given the opportunity to contribute to significant projects as if I were a real employee.
During my internship, I joined the Programs Team, talked with professionals from different institutions, introduced our flagship programs to high school students, and conducted interviews with interested applicants. Learning from the insights and expertise of our supervisors was also an advantage. Not only was I applying the theories I have learned in school but also I was continually growing because of the tasks that were given to me, which I would not have otherwise experienced if not for the opportunity given by this organization.
